Connie grew up in Asheville, North Carolina and has
always had a passion for cooking and entertaining. She is a graduate of the Asheville-Buncombe Technical College Culinary Program. She did her culinary school internship at Hound Ears Country Club in Blowing Rock, North Carolina, were she was in charge of all of the club’s catering and events. After graduation, Connie returned to Asheville to be near her family and eventually opened and operated two bed and breakfasts, Acorn Cottage and Carolina Bed and Breakfast. In 2000, Connie followed a lifelong dream to live in Charleston, South Carolina, so she sold her last bed and breakfast and moved to Charleston.
Connie found her true home in Charleston. She has been involved with several Charleston Bed and Breakfast Inns and presently owns a cookbook publishing company and a catering company. She has delighted guests, family, and friends for over 20 years with her wonderful culinary talents.

Connie lives in the I’on Community of Mount Pleasant with her son, Will. She is a member of I'on's Biznet. She enjoys cooking, entertaining, gardening, flower arranging, and boating in her free time.
